Over the last 6 months we have been planning for a number of scenarios, and whilst we are able to hold the TRYathlon under current Ministry of Health guidelines, we are taking a cautious approach given the uncertainty around the current COVID-19 outbreak, our event delivery team being largely Auckland based, the number of people that attend our event and the fact that we are unable to maintain physical distancing at our event. The health and wellbeing of the community is our first priority and despite the additional safeguards and measures we have put in place for our TRYathlon events, there is now a heightened risk of further community transmission that we are unable to safely manage.
